At the beginning of this all there was some ex CDC guy saying how that is part of the plan. But these plans are on the state level, and then the Feds will offer support and supplies. He said the Feds have “lots of supplies” - but they can’t help everyone. The states that can get their emergency plans up and running first will get the supplies first.

I found it interesting (and stupid) that Seattle buys an old motel (85 rooms?) and planned to use it to house 15 people in quarantine. I have no idea why so few people.

It makes a lot more sense to use school buildings converted into shelters or make-shift hospitals.

Motel rooms are a good solution for the strong sick.

Isolation.

Individual A/C and heat. Isolated living space to cough a lung up.
