Harvey Weinstein was given a fair trial and convicted of rape by a jury of his peers who had access to all the evidence, not just the parts that were released to the public by his buddies in the lamestream media. If he believes he was wrongly convicted he has the right to appeal just like any other US citizen.
Good enough for a jury, good enough for me. Harvey Weinstein is guilty as sin. Surely FReepers can find worthier causes to advocate for men’s rights than this sad sack of feces.
I believe in the essential justice of our legal system. The alternative, vigilante justice, is even worse for men accused of rape.
Harvey? Deserves whatever he gets. Fair trial? I don’t believe a politically generated trial can ever be fair these days . I do not see justice in trials in America anymore. So many activist judges put in place by Obama and Clinton precludes the ability to get a fair trial.
