From dp0622 | 03/05/2020 9:23:13 PM PST new I will send an update to all on Farmer Dean after I talk to him in the next few days.
I DID speak to him some days ago AFTER the prayer request thread and hes going to be in the hospital for at least another month but hes Definitely holding his own.
Sepsis is the issue and he will be on antibiotics for at least another month. The hole in his colon has healed but will require surgery when he is strong enough as they think it will leak again with time without surgery.
This has been going on for 2 years since a botched colon surgery operation. They GOT rid of the cancer..but they punctured his colon to heck.
His fever was 106 and now its normal. Ive never known someone who had a 106 fever. The guys a walking miracle.
When I figure out how to Ping and how to post a thread this will be easier :)
I dont really want to so I will likely just send all of the names and information to my good friend OldVirginian :)
Farmer Dean was very touched and said thank you for the prayers they are helping.
Ping a ling folks!
Yes, good news indeed.
I will talk to him by end of Saturday.
Thanks for putting up the thread :)
Prayers up!
Paesano! :)
He’ll be fine.
The guy’s a bull.
A little sepsis and a 106 fever and he runs off to the hospital.
What a drama queen :)
What a drama queen :)
LOL!
Lol
lol
Glad he’s doing a bit better- the surgery to fix the hole ‘should be’ pretty easy- hopefully they can do it key hole/laproscopic surgery—
We are Praying
I didn’t even think of laparoscopic. You’re right. I don’t know how they repair a hole in the colon. Some artificial material to seal it up or sew the stronger parts together?
I mean the hole is not there anymore but it’s not strong the part that healed
[[or sew the stronger parts together?]]
Yep- They will cut out the weak area- then splice the two ends together- they have a tool that cuts then staples it kinda all in one shot- I’m not sure if they sew by hand anymore- but they can do so laproscopically pretty easily these days- it will take a little while, but it will become just as strong when it heals-
The laproscopic procedure is a true Godsend- can go home the next day with some procedures- used to take days-
oh wow thanks for the information.
It doesn’t sound like you need to be incredibly strong to get this done, just strong enough.
Because I don’t want him in the hospital for 2 or 3 months more but he’s there AT LEAST into mid April.
This guy...maybe what, at least SEVERAL HUNDRED DAYS in hospitals the past 3 years.
I’d like for him to be home by May.
And maybe go visit him and see this gun collection that sounds absolutely astounding.
Any gun folks here would LOVE to talk to him. Everything is legal and registered lol, but i didn’t even know you could own such things in the US.
That’s what happens when you live in NY :(
ciao
You should let him know about all the articles discussing Vitamin C being used to control sepsis
Prayers up...
Prayers!
Robotic surgery...similar to laparoscopic you point out.
Thank You, Lord !
More prayer sent.
Thank you for the update, guys.
