With the coronavirus socking it to the Asian box office, Deadline has learned that MGM, Eon and Universal are postponing the next James Bond movie, No Time to Die from its UK and international release date of April 2 and its U.S. Easter weekend global day-and-date of April 10, and moving the 25th 007 movie to Nov. 25, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of No Time to Die will be postponed until November 2020. The film will be released in the U.K. on November 12, 2020 with worldwide release dates to follow, including the U.S. launch on November 25, 2020,” said a statement given exclusively to Deadline by the three studios.

Why release it at all? What the audiences are really clamoring for is a black, female, lesbian 007.
Real Bond fans aren’t going to pay to see it anyway, no matter when they release it.

I agree 100%. I hope it flops and they go back to the original formula. I will not attend this movie. Have you noticed the trailers don’t hint at a change in 007. They show Bond doing his usual stunts.
Makes me wonder if they’re going to have nekkid women silhouettes in the opening montage.
I just had a bad vision on what that lead in would look like now in regards to
Silhouetted appendages.
Given our best movies come out of S. Korea, this makes sense.
Oh, dont be so cynical. The trailers look great. I have never missed a bond film since Diamonds are Forever (seen the earlier ones on TV but I was too young to see them at the theater) and I wont miss this one. I think all the hype about the ‘new agent’ is over hyped. Bond is still Bond, and its just a movie.
Not a dime from me.

Let me be clear. I am not talking about this movie but the plans to retire Craig at the end of this one and pass the torch onto a black, female, lesbian 007.

If they retire James Bond they should retire 007 and make it 069.

I think the whole Bond series was played out a long time ago. But, lots must keep going to see them cuz they keep making them.
The socialists in Hollywood want to make capitalist money from the communists.
