Last summer I posted about my prostate cancer predicament. Opted for radical prostatectomy (robotic) and found a good surgeon in the North Dallas/Irving area.
Three month follow up PSA: 0.04, just below undetectable Six month follow up PSA: >0.02, lower limit of undetectable
Praise God! I was really having a hard year because of this. Now almost completely continent, and It is coming back :)
Thanks to FReepers whove been praying and counseling me on this trial.

Happy for ya.......;)
Edit: I meant to type <0.02 PSA. Anything below 0.02 is considered 0.02.
I got up to 18.4 right before surgery, so my surgeon was very worried.
Excellent.
Great news! BTT
Glad to hear it.
Best of luck.

Seize the day, my good man.
!!!!!!!
Good news, FRiend.
Good news indeed...:)
Good news! Had a cancer surgery in Dallas myself last week. Waiting on pathology isn’t great, but we are in a good area for this kind of stuff.
My prayers for your continuing good health, fwdude!
Praises!!
I did the radiation treatment 2 yrs ago for the same issue. Glad youre on the mend. The results your getting is pretty close to mine. Were on the right side of the grass. Stay well! Be Safe!
Wonderful news!!!
Good to hear fw! Congtats!
Yes, I got that T-shirt a few years back. Keep getting the PSA tests.
I tell people that it is a strange disease. In my case I had absolutely no symptoms and never really felt bad, but the PSA test caught it. That’s the test that the Obama HHS dept wanted to cut back on. The first week after surgery was unpleasant, going around with a catheter is absolutely no fun at all.
And it is a condition that does not solicit the sympathy from women that one would hope. The indignity of having to wear a pad...nope, no sympathy at all. “You don’t know what it’s like to occasionally squirt”, same reaction.
Good luck with your recovery.
Damn, mang, the PSA scale my doc uses is 0.00 - 4.00, and you hit 18.4? Congrats on those post-op numbers. (I was at 0.03 on my last blood board in January. They took out five polyps after my last scoping in ‘15.)
