These asteroids are starting to annoy me. I read idea once about attaching a solar sail to an asteroid, using the suns radiation to change its course.

I would think that’s enough time to send up a big nuke just in case.

I could be wrong...but am pretty sure snow doesn’t come from asteroids.

11,800 BC - Comet strike - fragments continues to strike for over 100 years. Ended the Ice Age, caused the Younger Dryas, extincted mega fauna and, the Clovis peoples in North America - the prime area of the strike.
There were many other large impacts after the Chicxulub Dino killer but none 6.8 to 50.3km in size

Younger Dryas impact 13000 years ago in North America was last one.
Mammoth tusks with micro impacts are pretty conclusive evidence as is widespread black mat.

“...370 meter asteroid...?” Not big enough to be scary. A few years back, there was a site where we could enter some information to see the approximate damage. I lost track of the URL for that site since then.

Admit it. We all think an asteroid strike would be cool to see, as long as it’s not too close.

Very old news (Posted on FR many times since 2004)... Apophis will be making a couple of passes at Earth...
The government scrambled when the first (2004) reports/calculations showed a 2029 collision... It redid the calculations using "million-man-march" mathematics and found that this first pass would just be a "close call"...
The next pass, in 2036 will be "much" closer...
Nothing to see here... The government has everything under control... Move along...

Well, I violated FR protocol and looked at the article. It says they expect the asteroid to pass by at a distance of 19,000 miles on April 13, 2029.
April 13 is Jefferson's birthday. Four asteroids were discovered during his lifetime. I don't know if he took an interest in the news.
