When my 12-year-old mentioned "social justice warrior," I asked him what one is. He replied: "A nut!" When I asked if it's cool to be one. He replied: "Actually it's cool to trash on those kinds of people." When his grandmother heard us talking and asked him what a social justice warrior is (she really didn't know), he replied: "A lunatic."
When I asked his sister, "What is a social justice warrior?" she replied, in a shrill, high-pitched voice: "They're people who're like 'I'm going to give my children aromatherapy and not give them vaccines!"
She also said this: "Do you know what they're teaching us? That humans are killing the oceans and destroying the planet and we're all going to die from global warming!" When I asked her if any of the students believe that, she replied: "Some do!"
Poor Millennials, the first generation in the history of the human race to have problems. I do feel for them. Maybe there’s an app for that.
I concur. What we are seeing is the end product of a public education system that has been totally seized by the Left and turned into an indoctrination juggernaut. The next wave won’t be much different than the last.
Millenials are now in their 30’s and still not getting smarter. I suppose they won’t. Conservatives are going to be squeezed up and out of American politics like the last bit of toothpaste in a tube.
If you don't have different points of reference for each generation - if there aren't sharp differences in music, fashion, politics, etc. - "us" and "them" can be harder to sort out. Or maybe the big political divide in the country makes generational divisions less significant.

Maybe because we have "been there and done that". We've been doing affirmative action since before I was born and it hasn't satisfied the perpetually aggrieved. I have seen lots of diversity with plenty of Indians, Chinese, and other Asian imports in management. The problem is that culturally American minorities too often take the aggrieved perspective that somehow they are owed and don't work for it. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what the color/sex/creed of the person is doing the work it matters that the work is done and done well.
Any chance that both groups will grow-up and start acting and thinking responsibly?
So it sounds as if she’s bought the vaccine propaganda. But altogether I’d guess you’re in a red state.
