Depends on what they mean by “disconnected from the power grid.” Fukushima’s power plants had melt downs when they did not have power needed to keep the nuclear fuel cool. Hopefully this article could mean “disconnected” from contributing or supplying power. Not good for the people but better than the alternative. Prayers up that the situation is positive with plant in stable condition.
