When there’s 1,500 sick people in the parking lot of every hospital and 200 in the lobby, nobody will even think of “the plan”.
Many will not go to work.

That is for ALL types of workers. Fearful of going into work (the police station, fire department, electrical company) where they might get it from their co-worker.
Or staying home to care for someone sick in their family. Etc.
There is only so long a community can continue if nobody shows up for work.
The videos of the deserted streets in China are really spooky. 8 lanes of road - 2 cars. “Boy - they must really have to be driving. Huge fines, and possibly lose their license if they are caught driving. Oh - they are turning into the hospital.”
Oh, we know that. That’s what the police are for.
Hospital emergency management people actually think the staff will continue to show up. That one gets chuckles from the back row at the meetings.
