It just popped up on my FB page and I now use very crappy (with ads) Chrome
I use it all the time.
Good browser.
It is one of the browsers I use when I get sick of FF or Chrome. It is light and quick. Good for when I don’t have a need for lots of extensions for various sites. Works well on Linux and Android. Recommended.
I’ve been using it for about 2 months...takes care of pop-ups, ads, etc. Highly recommend “BRAVE”.
It’s awesome. Been using it about a year.
NO YOU TUBE COMMERCIALS!
I used it a couple of years ago. I found it fast, flexible and secure, but buggy. It may have improved since then.
I use it on Android and my laptops. Rarely have to use chrome. Blocks ads well, does great on most sites. (I can’t think of the last time it had an issue)
3+ years of using it and am very happy.
Love it.
Get ghostery and Adblock Plus add-ins too

I have been using it for several months and it is fast and seems secure. There are a few sites it won’t work for, but those sites may want information that may be too much to share, so I take the hint. It tells you (if you want to know) how many ads and trackers it has blocked, and in just a few months, I have avoided 188,120 of them, saving me 2.6 hours of processing time. Scary stats.
I’ve been using it for a couple years (mac user). Quick and secure (works well with VPNs), it’s ad and pop-up blocker makes many websites usable again.
It also has good interaction with users. They put out a recent update that broke my bookmarks. I put out a review out castigating them for it. They contacted me and suggested a work around (didn’t work). The next update came in two weeks and my original bookmarks were restored (and it didn’t delete the new ones).
BRAVE is the brainchild of Brendan Eich, the guy who got hounded out of Mozilla because he gave money to oppose gay marriage in California. Support him!!
I started with Brave months ago, became a memory hog for me.
I am very happy with Waterfox.
Brave is a browser that was created by Brendan Eich, who was a co-founder and chief technical officer of Mozilla (the company behind the Firefox browser). Eich was forced out of Mozilla / Firefox because he made a $1,000 donation in support of California Proposition 8, which called for banning same sex marriage.
Brave is based on the Chromium web browser. Brave blocks ads and website trackers and partners with DuckDuckGo.
I like ghostery
Fast, Secure, Reliable.
It also has Tor built in, so if you don’t have a VPN service you have an alternate to remain anonymous.
Overall Excellent Browser.
use adblock plus extension with chrome to eliminate ads ... use Just Read extension to bypass most paywalls and view just the article text without any of the other crap on the web page appearing ...
No YouTube Commercials? I have them on my Brave browser. Is there some sort of setting I am missing? Help! Since YouTube changed how they did the commercials I can’t skip them when they show up and if they don’t like a video they put hour-long commercials up.
Best browser I’ve ever used.
I’ve used it since it was in beta and years later it remains my browser of choice. Secure and fast.
I use Brave every day. I’m using it right now. Works great, blocks ads, and when a site asks me to whitelist or turn off my ad blocker I just don’t bother looking at their site.
