Pack the Union: A Proposal to Admit New States for the Purpose of Amending the Constitution to Ensure Equal Representation . . . Congress should pass legislation reducing the size of Washington, D.C., to an area encompassing only a few core federal buildings and then admit the rest of the District’s 127 neighborhoods as states. These states — which could be added with a simple congressional majority — would add enough votes in Congress to ratify four amendments: (1) a transfer of the Senate’s power to a body that represents citizens equally; (2) an expansion of the House so that all citizens are represented in equal-sized districts; (3) a replacement of the Electoral College with a popular vote; and (4) a modification of the Constitution’s amendment process that would ensure future amendments are ratified by states representing most Americans.

Harvard Law Review comes right out and says it: The American Constitution is evil and constructed for haters, and all aspect of republicanism must be demolished and turned into California. You can't make this stuff up!

Harvard Law gave America
1. Obama the Impostor
2. Warren the Impostor
3. failed to pay its own reparations to the Cherokees.

If that scheme were implemented, it would bring on Civil War II.

This is an embarrassment to Harvard Law and to its students. It’s also scary - the ethically corrupt ideologues who wrote this garbage are going to go on to practice law and enter national politics. Past alumni of the Harvard Law Review include SC justices John Roberts, Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Yup. They are so full of themselves, they imagine the rest of the country would just take this blatant power grab lying down.

I am pretty sure you would have a tough time getting that past the 38 states.

I know Texas can split into five states, adding 8 more senators to the mix. But even now I can see Houston and San Antonio going Blue...so lets leave them alone.

That wouls simply be Mob Rule.
Harvard would be torched by the un-washed masses.
Every “Intellectual” would be hung.
Tribal groups would rise.

Kind of French Revolution stuff.

Better ideas?

Constitutional Carry across the nation.
Repeal the 17th and give power back to the states.
Cut federal budget and emoyees by 90%.

Better alternative, to buy up all of the city and make it a federal reservation. All businesses within would only be leased.

Then bulldoze the ghetto, modernize and replace all infrastructure from below ground up, and except for VIP vehicles, only use mass transit of several kinds. Have a back lane for all trucks. Install automatic sidewalks that can move a lot of people quickly.

Oh please. Harvard is no longer the revered institution of higher learning. It is now an indoctrination center, just as many other universities/colleges/high schools are.

The left thinks we are stupid and that if they wave the flag and their pocket Constitutions, they can fool us into thinking they are patriots. This absurd proposal - coming on the heels of the Dems “defending the Constitution” via their sham impeachment - shows just how much the left hates the actual Constitution and wants to subvert it to gain permanent and absolute control over every one of us.

There’s about as much chance of this happening (at least for the foreseeable future) as me being 180 pounds again.

i’m not saying they cant happen, just Very Highly unlikely :)

Well, I assume at some point in my grave i’ll weight 180 again lol

Fair enough. But I cannot come up with any other result of such a ludicrous proposal as the United States would effectively end.
