I have another theory.
Pelosi is trying to maneuver Bloomberg to take on Trump. Bloomberg is the only candidate that can intellectually go one-on-one with Trump on the economy and he will fund his own campaign, so the broke DNC can concentrate on holding the House and gaining in the Senate.
The plan is to take all Senators off of the trail until Super Tuesday.
And, to watch the Trump Impeachment turn into the Biden Impeachment. Nancy is setting up Biden. Biden’s candidacy will not survive Hunter’s testimony. Bernie and Lie-awatha will hold in the voting and set up a no clear winner, second-round ballot at the DNC convention. Mayor Pete will try and be the VP, but Bloomberg will pick Klobachar to get the centrist female vote.
Unfortunately for Nancy, Trump will be acquitted and will win. Democrat blacks and democrats in fly-over country will not vote for a Jewish New York billionaire who is “buying the election”.
And, the “Bernie or Bust” people (I want that bumper sticker) have sworn that they will vote for Trump out of spite if Bernie is not the nominee.
Add any indictments, and this is a real circus. Buy popcorn.

None of these pie in the sky fantasies are going to come true.
There will be a very ugly trial and Trump will be acquitted for one reason. He’s too popular to remove.
The next investigation of Trump will be unveiled as soon as this trial ends.

If Hunter testifies, he will plead the 5th. As will all the demokrap-witnesses called by the GOP or by POTUS’ legal team. That’s why Senator Schmuck-NY doesn’t care if Rand Paul’s “witness for witness” approach is adopted. The witnesses the demokraps call will have come, testified and left town before the GOP calls theirs.
While I am on the topic of witnesses, I used to like Bolton. Anyone who openly volunteers to be a witness in an impeachment like he is a candidate for office is an egomaniac, an attention-getter, not to be trusted, maybe worse. His emotions may have finally cracked his cool headedness.
