US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has revealed the name of her new pooch Deco.
The renegade Bronx Democrat who came under fire for allegedly buying a purebred male French bulldog puppy instead of rescuing a dog from a shelter said in an Instagram posting Sunday that the name is short for the early 1900s Art Deco movement.
AOC, who had asked online followers for name suggestions last week, wrote that she and boyfriend Riley Roberts ultimately chose the moniker.

I'd still rather have the dog as my representative. <
She’s stuck in the 1930s, like her economic policies.
Beat you by :72.
He’s one of the stupidest svengalis of all time.
That’s the biggest word she could spell
The young woman wants a purebred French bulldog and can afford one, it’s not anybody’s business than hers. But greyhounds are the real ‘Deco’ dogs. You’ll see their statuettes sitting around in lots of movies from the time.
Its actually short for DEep-state COmmunist.

Should have named him “Bow-haus”.
The type of dog was the one All-Star baseball pitcher David Price had. The dog was much loved and got the keys to the city, sat in the mayor’s chair at a ceremony, had his own bobblehead day and was one of the most popular figures in baseball a while ago. Sadly, Astro, the French Bulldog, passed away in July, 2019.
“one of Riley and I’s favorite design styles”
Riley and I’s? Good grief.
Poor dog
Reall funny.
Knowledge of art, satirical humor creativity----FR has got it all.
Really funny (typo earlier)
Nucking fitwit.
probably named after his ability to decorate the floors in the apartment...
I seriously doubt that AOC even knows of or understands the Term Art-Deco. LOL
The dog is going to be crate trained. In other words, she and whoever she lives with will be locking the puppy in a crate all day long until they return home from work at night........
I was thinking the same thing. What a dunce.
