If youre a law enforcement official who has more allegiance to ideology than to the law or to the country, where does that get you?
For former FBI analyst Mark Tolson, the answer is jail however briefly.
Tolson is best-known if hes known at all as the man who broke into a pro-Trump operatives email account in October 2018, took screen-shots of some of the messages, then sent images to a reporter and offered the reporter the password, according to Politico. The unnamed member of the media turned down the opportunity.
Tolson, 60, said he did it because that activist was claiming, absent any evidence, that then-special counsel Robert Mueller had committed sexual assault.
I did what I did to try to protect Director Mueller, who can protect himself, Tolson said at his sentencing at an Alexandria, Virginia, court on Dec. 20, according to The Washington Post. Im terribly sorry.

“I did what I did to try to protect Director Mueller”
I think what he was really doing was currying favor, a/k/a sucking up or kissing ass.

I think it has become clear that no government agency should be allowed to do their own hiring. It leads to incestuous hiring, group think, and perpetuation of ideological homogeneity. Who do you think Comey would want to hire?

I forgot to add (end sarcasm here) to my post. 7 days and a $500.00 fine is a joke.

The FIB plants a number of news stories. It’s obvious. Collusion between the Leftist press and dirty cops.

The ACLU is okay “with dat”.
It’s not like the FBI was breaking into a domestic terrorist Marxist’s or Islamist’s computer. It was only a Trump supporter.

So the DNC hack was super duper serious but the same thing done by this FBI guy was trivial and only warrants seven days.

The email wasn’t hacked. The perp’s wife had the password because she worked for the victim.
Western Journal seems to be a garbage source.

Nothing to see here, just a slap on the wrist. Feigned ignorance works every time for the Deep State.

Illicit entry is a hack. Whether it is done through software or corporate espionage, it’s still illegal entry.
