On the day after the 2016 election, a pro-Trump FBI agent texted another, saying that “shit just got real” and joked that some people would have to “start looking for new jobs,” DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz’s report released Monday reveals.
According to the report, the handling agent, the co-case handling agent, and the special agent for one of the FBI’s Confidential Human Source (CHS), were all fans of Donald Trump, and exchanged text messages about their support.
On November 9, 2016, the special agent texted, “if you hear talk of a special prosecutor…I will volunteer to work [on] the Clinton Foundation.”
He also said that he was “so elated with the election” and said it was like watching the Superbowl.
Regarding these comments, he later told the Office of Inspector General that he “fully expected Hillary Clinton to walk away with the election.”

The only problem is that Trump, not a pol, didn’t actually fire them. Obama got rid of all the Bush folks, and Trump should have done the same.
IMHO FBI agents / officials on both sides of politics should never engage in any discussions of these types. They should insulate themselves from any suggestion of bias. I don’t understand why they aren’t told that emphatically from the beginning.
That’s right, if you want to investigate presidential candidates, you should leave your personal political opinions outside the door. Otherwise, don’t take the job.

I recall Levin on the radio far after the convention waffling about wheather he was going to vote for Trump or not. The FIB and CIA were simply mirroring how the elites were behaving. They took the bipartisan Never Trumpism as a green light for spygate. I have no doubt there.
President Trump was relying on untrustworthy people in the early days of his administration.
Most of the Bush League Republicans he appointed were working against him.

Maybe I’m just on the crazy train but this is really starting to look to me like FIB/CIA Spygate is the symptom and biparitsan Never Trumpism is the disease. I see a lot similarities in Spygate to how the do-nothing GOP Senate now aides and abetts the impeachment of POTUS in the House.

I agree! IMO the entire FBI is rotten, liberal to the core and they act it or else one or two would have come forward to speak out. But that has not happened and will not happen. I hope Trump is so pissed with Wray that he does something drastic, like Reagan did with the Airline Controllers, i.e., “YOU’RE FIRED”. If Reagan can do it, Trump sure as hell can do it.
