Honda said they sold it to a 3rd party seller.
I am going to Honda Monday in person, dont know if that will help
I filled out their complaint form, Monday phone call.
Received the mail after 5
I like your way of thinking!
Non payment of a parking ticket could result in this

Since you cannot eliminate the offending parties, at some point you gotta ask yourself how much your time is worth and if you actually give a damn if they get their fricking $91 dollars.
Just look at how many peoples’s time have been spent on this thread alone.
Pay them or don’t - I vote DON”T, then go back to living your life.
Something on some paperwork still had you listed as owner.
Did you mail them....so someone had to sign for them?
They received it. The file shows all the documents
How did they get the VIN#? Did you pay to have it etched on the window? If so, that was a mistake.
For starters you shouldn’t be living in Broward County.
Have to address it.
Could happen again
Thats the rub I dont
The ticket goes with the car. Not the owner. Certainly not a former owner.
Failure to pay a parking ticket means no renewal registration. Or a sale.
Certainly no big deal to you. Dont pay it.
Paying the fricking $91 would not end his troubles. He may have to pay tickets in perpetuity if the car is in his name and some asshole keeps getting parking tickets; or even worse, uses the car in commission of a crime, or runs over somebody. He would do better to report the car as stolen. If he's gonna be rung up for tickets on the car, it may as well be in his possession.
Broward County? Just walk in and tell them you are a Democrat.
No license suspension??
i read otherwise, that would be a relief
I sold a boat. 20 years later I got a bill from a sheriff for commercial salvage costs of a derelict and a fine.
Not that it will help in Florida but in California we have a DMV form, “Notice of Transfer and Release of Liability”, that we fill out when we transfer title. The buyer’s name (or dealership if it is a trade in) is included on the form. This serves notice to the DMV that we are no longer responsible for the vehicle. California has a lot of forms other states don’t because we have more high paid lawyers I think.
Its up to you but it has been my experience that people can waste a lot of time and effort trying to solve a problem dealing with government but the easiest solution is almost always to pay the money.
The governments that rule over us subjects and have been spending way beyond their incomes (our money by the way) for generations (and accruing huge debts, our debt) do not care about truth or justice they just want your money. It’s at all levels Federal, State, County and City. Even if you beat the ticket you will have spent money during the process that they will get a chunk of.
Run a carfax title check on the car and see if you can find out the history of the car since you sold it.
