I hear you. Sports are fun to discuss. We tend to not discuss politics at family functions.

As far as politics goes, there are some varied opinions among family and friends. But those who are more liberal than me, are not the extremist lunatic fringe types. So even if politics comes up, there’s no nonsense such as someone preferring ISIS members as a sex partner. There’s no nonsense that Trump is Hitler and a hundred other things we have heard from the MSNBC crowd.
