We’ve driven that road a number of times. Wide, good visibility, no potholes. No reason at all for a head on collision.
Belizean drivers are reasonably sane.

Yeah, was there a couple of years ago. Really nice place. Costa Rica is also an amazing place. The rest of Central America, you have to be careful.
