Once you are 18, you can do as you please-you are an adult, and you only pay attention to what is okay with mom, dad, family and friends if you want to as long as you are supporting yourself-I say that as someone who has always been an unrepentant rebel...

It doesn’t sound like this young woman was using the money to pay for college-but I had college friends who were topless/pole dancers-they made a lot more money for books and tuition working at those topless clubs at night than I did working as a cocktail waitress at one of the nicest dinner-and-live rock band clubs in the downtown tourist area-the only difference was that they didn’t mind dancing without their clothes and I wasn’t willing to do that. That was in the early 70’s, but there are still young women willing to dance and strip to make a lot of money for college...

Those ladies usually have other issues that are not normally apparent...talk to some psychotherapist and ask them what is the typical social and psychological status of those kinda folk. Lots of anger...depression..alienation
“Daddy issues”...sexual abuse....molestation...etc.

Sorry, but I think they are idiots to do something so demeaning. But, maybe money means more to them than anything else in the world.
Also they may be exhibitionists and enjoy the sordid side of it.
