Time for a little handicapping.

Chance that Norway will apologize: 99%
Chance that the Norwegian man will be arrested on some bogus charge: 95%

Chance that some Muslim will commit an act of revenge: 50%
Chance that the media would blame the Norwegian man for any act of revenge: 100%

The Islamists absolutely want to go to war over a book. And that’s something that most folks in the West just can’t grasp.

Mohammad was a false prophet. He’s in the grave awaiting the final judgment which does not end well for he of those who do not repent of following his teachings. Muslims need to be offended now by the only and true Gospel the the Lord Jesus Christ that they who cling to Mohammad so far reject ... for there is no other hope for them or anyone.

No one comes to the Father but through the Son.

We offend them anyway.

So we should make a point of offending them.

The riots were caused by outrage over a video.

Love, the Obama Administration

Burn the letter from Pakistan, place the ashes in a return envelope. Hoist your glasses.

The very existence of non-muslims offends muslims.

Burn a Koran daily.

The eco-loons want to reduce the size of humanity

Eradicating 1.3 billion Muslims would work real well.

I guess it’s sinful to burn a book that supports atrocities worse than you’d see in a KayKayKay manifesto.

Your scenario reminds me of when our ambassador was murdered in Libya “because of a YouTube video that enraged pious moslems.” Didn’t the creator get jailed?

In the Norwegian winter the Quran could keep you warm at night.

“Such actions hurt the sentiments of 1.3 billion Muslims around the world.”

And what does murdering innocent people do to the billions of non-muslimes around the world? Where's the apology for those predations?

Go to hell, Achmed.

He got a year in jail. And I’m actually surprised that he is still alive. I would have thought that a peaceful Islamist would have killed him by now.

OMG!!!! The seventh century is still alive and well in Islam, and it is in part why Muslims have not learned much since then. They are still conducting the bloody religious wars with their bloody combination of church and state, an attitude that was finally bled out of western society after its own religious wars. Any combination of secular law and religious blasphemy laws is neither good for secular government or religion. That combination makes them a sacrificial lamb of each other, corrupting both.

The problem is that while it happened in the past in Christian societies, there is no mandate in Christian scripture for secular law to impose mandates on society that only pertain to believers, but Islam requires it.

I think it’s interesting how most Christians are not at all upset if you burn or deface a Bible. It’s the words written that are sacred - not the paper or ink. The words cannot be destroyed by man.

They’re playing the “violent heckler veto”. Do what we say or we violently riot. And that’s why they shouldn’t be allowed in our countries.
