I did that once. Told the wife I was going to go get a paint brush. Ran like the devil to Cabelas for a new rifle. When I got home the wife made a comment about the brush working for latex. I was busy trying to figure out how to get the new toy in the house and not really listening. Then the hyperbole kicked in and I said “I didn’t get a paint brush because they didn’t have one for spandex”. Hyperboles will get you hurt.
