WMUR in Manchester, NH has the Friday night High School football games. UNH & Dartmouth sports. They do a lot of local interest stories. The tell the weather at least twice. They also tell about the latest robbery by some Hispanic dude or local heroin addict.
NH has the first primary. So, they always have a story about which loony Dem candidate is flipping pancakes or stumping in the Granite State.
They do not spend a third of the news cast bashing Trump.
Especially first thing in the morning. They leave that to GMA.

I’ve always wondered how cable box metrics compare to Nielson ratings, if at all.

Yes, but doesn’t the CEO of Disney or GE have a responsibility to the shareholders for the news divisions to be profitable. IF my company was losing market share like they have been, somebody would get fired.

When is that on?
I would watch that, especially if some of the pretty women on Fox News were part of that broadcast.

Can we start with Carley Shimkus?

“Can we start with Carley Shimkus?”
I don’t know, I always want to buy her a burger, fries and large milkshake when I see her.

The gap between newtwork viewership and cable is shrinking, she’s 5.1 and Hannity is about 3.3.

The number depends on how many TV’s in Nursing Homes and waiting rooms are tuned into CBS. My Aunt was in a decent Nursing Home and the TV was on all day. Most residents were asleep in their wheel chairs until “Wheel Of Fortune” came on.
No one watches Nora.
To: Red Badger
Maybe they should stop with the reporterettes and give the chair to a man who inspires some respect.

Many viewers tune in to their local news, and the network program is just a follow-on. I doubt anyone actually turns on the TV just to see Norah ODonnell and the like.

They see that their ratings are tanking. CNN sees that Fox News constantly beats their ratings. We've entered post-capitalism America and to the MSM it isn't about winning the ratings competition, it's about dispensing propaganda, all of which is being underwritten by corporate SJWs.

I stopped watching CBS in 1981. I used to watch all three networks. But Dan Rather took over and he made such a nasty segment on Reagan and then Bill Moyers chimed in and that was the end. CBS went from first to third with Rather and the brass still can't figure out why or else do not care. I never forgave them for Uncle Dan and watched only several time since then mainly right after he was getting fired. I really enjoyed watching him squirm. CBS from what I understand is still DSLF (Democrat party slime liar filth).

True Dat.
Plus, they say the camera adds 10 lbs.
Her stats say she is 5’ 10”. However, she only makes $53K.
Hard to believe.

THAT is very true and because it is these are very dangerous times. When networks/broadcasters don't even worry about ratings, and only care about bending minds it's rough days ahead.
It's too bad there is no good way to actually police "journalism" in a "free speech" country.
