It would not be a contest. Turks are much better trained and equipped.

No NATO protection for Turkish aggression.

I certainly don’t want us to get involved. And the most important part of said non-involvement is that we will not get involved in sparing or shielding Turkey from the adverse consequences of their unprovoked invasion of a neighboring country.

My personal belief is that Turkey well deserves whatever adversity comes from THEIR actions. They have a long history of supporting and working with ISIS and other Islamist criminals that murdered and enslaved religious minorities. The Syrians on the other hand have a record of protecting Christian and other religious/ethnic minorities. And a significant portion of the Syrian military forces are actually Christian.

So while we don’t have a dog in that fight, I know which dog I’m rooting for...and it’s not the ISIS supporters.
