White Texas cops should probably stop shooting wholly innocent black people inside their own homes. Race might not have factored at all but the optics still aren't good.

Ignoring the racial details, this is a case of murder. The officer went into the home unannounced and then shot an unarmed woman, who did not pose a threat, to death.

He could have looked her up for priors and any risk factors before going to talk to her. This was not a job for a cop, but a social worker.
