Does Adam not understand the legal concept of fruit from the poisoned tree? If the whistle blower lied or committed a crime to obtain evidence, anything learned from such evidence is inadmissible.

If the whistle blower lied or committed a crime to obtain evidence, anything learned from such evidence is inadmissible.That would be true in a court of law. In an impeachment all that is necessary is political will, i.e. votes.
