Mark Levin would convert to Islam before he ever put on a military uniform. His “neo-con” globalism is out there for everyone to see.

The Kurds were heavily involved in the Armenian massacres in World War I.

And gassed by Saddam

I think Trump could have handled this better.

Obama actually helped the Turkish Air Force slaughter Kurds on December 28, 2011.

Turkey's Attack On Civilians Tied To U.S. Military Drone

Did Lindsey Graham ever put on his big boy pants and whine about that?

The Turks are going to be Turks. Trump knows that. He will destroy their economy. They are an ally though only on paper. You can’t war on an ally. Let the Turks be Turks and then crush them.

In the end the Kurds will be happy because Turkey will no longer be the Turkey of today. It will be a husk.

Kurds will be able to set up their Maoist utopia and eat dirt.

So where are any comments from Israel on this?
Jerusalem Post - Never before in history has the US worked with a group and then opened the skies to have another US ally bomb and destroy it. On October 9, the Syrian Democratic Forces, a group of mostly Kurdish fighters who fought ISIS for five years and helped create a peaceful and stable area in northeast Syria, were bombed and bombarded by Turkey as US forces withdrew and watched.

In an unprecedented reversal for Washington’s policy in Syria the Americans armed, trained and encouraged the SDF to liberate wide swaths of Syria from ISIS only to turn around on October 6 and, under the leadership of US President Donald Trump, give Turkey the open skies and borders to attack US partner forces. Like thieves in the night, US forces withdrew from their positions without explanation, processes, discussions, or leaving behind people to monitor the area, and made it clear to Ankara that nothing would be done to impede an attack.

If you want I can start a gofundme to pay for your gear and plane ticket so you can go fight the Turks on the Kurds behalf.

Let me know.

I remember at one point in time our United States Air Force was placed into the ridiculous situation of making daily flights from our Air Force Base in Turkey to protect the Kurds in their land battles against opposing forces, yet in the night Turkish planes were flying from the same Air Force Base to bomb the Kurds.

If we were talking about the Montagnards of Viet Nam in 1975, I would feel completely differently. Most of the Montagnards were Christian and were our allies, yet we left most of them to suffer their fate with the North Vietnamese after we pulled out and Saigon fell. We don't even need to mention "The Bay of Pigs."

The Kurds can only fight for independence from four existing Middle Eastern countries or assimilate into the societies and cultures around them. The latter is more difficult as those around them would rather kill them than allow assimilation after generations of antagonism. How far back do their animosities go?

The first modern Kurdish nationalist movement emerged in 1880 with an uprising led by a Kurdish landowner and head of the powerful Shemdinan family, Sheik Ubeydullah, who demanded political autonomy or outright independence for Kurds as well as the recognition of a Kurdistan state without interference from Turkish or Persian authorities.[105] The uprising against Qajar Persia and the Ottoman Empire was ultimately suppressed by the Ottomans [Turks] and Ubeydullah, along with other notables, were exiled to Istanbul.
THE U.S. IS NOW BETRAYING THE KURDS FOR THE EIGHTH TIME

Best part of Trump’s speech as to why these endless wars weigh heavy on him. Talks about being with the parents when the bodies are unloaded off the military cargo plane. Very sad stuff....

I was driving and was listening to that part of Trump's press conference on Sirius/XM. Had tears streaming down my face. Incredibly sad....

So the Kurds are allies, and because they are a part of NATO, Turkey is an ally? Seems like a sticky wicket for the US and maybe we need to de-ally one of these two; and it seems like Turkey volunteered to give up pretending...

The “special forces” guy was way out of place opining to the media - if he actually is what he claims to be.

“Giving Turkey an opportunity to massacre them”

That bullshit argument is based upon a false assumption that we have an obligation to be there.

Are these the same generals who KNEW that Obama posted FAKE birth documents? These perfumed posers KNEW this within minutes of the posting. Their response? They persecuted lower level officers who were concerned about it.

( Just wondering.)

So, we should shed our blood and treasure protecting them forever? The Kurds need to stand up for themselves. Plenty of "peoples" have been eradicated from this Earth. The Kurds are just another. This exposes Turkey and Erdoğan as the vile islamist who should be kicked out of NATO.
