I just looked at the methodology. The poll’s a crock.
The current use of supposed polls (fake polls) is to get people to think the way the majority of people think. “If the majority of the people think Trump should be impeached then perhaps I should think that too”.
It’s become a fraud. Like ‘Push Polls’ at election time.
Last time I checked “Americans” don’t get a vote on impeachment....
One poll I saw had a 47% / 47% split. Who believes polls now?
I just took a poll and it found 100% of registered voters surveyed want to see CNN bankrupt.

They are parroting an Ipsos-Rueters so-called poll. Just more lies and sowing confusion by the librats.
Nothing to worry about - the ONLY number that matters for Trump staying in office is what Republican voters want, and there’s still no sign of slippage there.
To put it another way, to remove Trump will take 20 REPUBLICAN Senators voting that way. While there likely is well over 20 Republican Senators who want Trump gone, they also know that they will be gone in their next election if they vote to remove.
Hence, they WILL NOT vote to remove Trump, as long as the Republican base continues to support Trump.
These surveys are to shape public opinion, not measure it.
No one has to wait to hear it. The dems will give out polls to say, and prove, whatever they want to promote.
The dems will start releasing polls that have impeachment at 50%, then 60%, and even greater.
Notice, they never agree to legislate according to polls over abortion.

The exit polls after the 2018 midterm showed 39% wanted Trump impeached.
That worked out to 92% of the Democrats who voted.
47% does not surprise me.
With the massive negative new coverage, it would not be hard to pick up 8% from the Independents, the RINOS, and a few stray Republicans.
Also, Drudge has become a maniacal pro-impeachment zealot.
Since Drudge’s (former) audience was basically Conservative, I’m sure that hurts Trump at least as much as the MSM does.
There are so many extra-democratic anti-populist forces in play at this time that it’s hard to tell the players without a scorecard.
One thing we have underestimated are the differences between (real, actual) “public opinion” (what people want day to day) and the way people finally vote in an election.
The public is made up of people who believe you can lose 60 pounds in a week and who know without research what “Jen’s baby heartbreak” means, or who “Kourtney” is and what she thinks about “Scott”. Just look at the magazines next time you check out of a food store.
It may be easier, a lot easier, to manufacture “public demand” for impeachment than it would be to get someone in a sober mood to cast a ballot for a sick old drunk or a finocchio with a tax problem on his yacht.
The infotainment complex was shocked to their soles when Kerry lost. They thought their portrayal of Bushitler was as real to people as Kim and Kanye.
And when the Magic Negro won, twice, because of white stupidity and guilt, they thought it was their doing. It was therefore unimaginable that they couldn’t flog a sick old drunk over the line in a rigged election.
AND THEY WON BY MILLIONS OF VOTES. Don’t ever forget that. What they failed to do with Kerry, what they THOUGHT they did with Obama, WORKED!

Now, they are furious. The owners of the news providers, the movie makers, and the third and fourth tier entertainers have been denied for the last time.
They are afraid they can’t beat him in an election, even if they allow voting in September by people who know all about Meghan and Harry, even with fraud, even with ballot harvesting.
But if they can arrange an election with only 100 voters? And if those 100 voters are afraid of a baying mob who only know that Orange Man Bad because Ellen and Jimmy Fallon, Robert deNiro,and Little Nas X all agree, along with all their Facebook “friends”, and if it doesn’t require the mob to go out and cast a ballot but just to talk to a pollster on the phone?
And if two thirds of the 100 voters are crooks who have sold out their country to La Raza and to the Chamber of Commerce?
And if the election with 100 voters can be turned into a prime time special?
Anything can happen.
Is this Mitt Romney’s 47% who pay no income taxes?
An attempt to “mainstream” impeachment. “ jump on the impeachment bandwagon, everybody’s doing it!”
And 46.9% don’t understand that impeachment doesn’t automatically result in removal from office.
