Under the Old Testament law the penalty for for what we would call human trafficking was death.
If the trafficker were executed quickly, and not just the trafficker but the customer as well, this nonsense would come to a screeching halt.

What I’m saying is standard prostitution is called sex trafficking if it involves minors.

Well,.minors can’t consent, so even if they are freelancing its technically statutory rape.
The law has to treat young cases as trafficking because they need to be put into therapy and treatment rather than tossed into the jail system with adults. There is a much higher chance of rehabilitation with voluntary prostitutes if you work with them while they are young.
I spent eight years working with adults leaving the sex industry. It’s like hearding angry wasps.
