The highlight of the Dems’ debate this week must have been the 30-second advertisement run by Elizabeth Heng’s New Faces GOP PAC (video below). In the ad Ms. Heng explains the true meaning of socialism to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her followers. Gary Saul Morson gives a longer account of the phenomenon in “How the truth dawned.”

That’s why the Left attacked the superficial part of the ad that burns AOC face (which has happened dozens of times in political ads) rather than the substance of the ad itself.
This is a great start. There are many Americans who came from lands tormented and tortured by socialism. And each of them could put a different face on its horrors.
Venezuelan Americans, Cuban Americans, Romanian Americans, Polish Americans, Czech Americans, Hungarian Americans, Chinese Americans, Vietnamese Americans, Korean Americans, etc.
Seriously, at least a dozen commercial spots like this and it would blow a lot of minds.
In many ways it would be as powerful as the Swift Boat ads against John Kerry.
Put up the 1868 democrat campaign slogan.
