For some unknown, there was a time where Eddie Money was the performer I had seen in concert the most, maybe 4 or 5 times. I liked his music well enough, but in the end, he would be way down my list of favorite artists. But, he usually had a good touring band, the shows weren't expensive, and he had a long enough list of hits to make the shows entertaining.

RIP, Mr. Money.

He definitely paid his dues, playing the local clubs in Berkeley, notably the Longbranch and the Keystone nightclubs, he was at one or the other it seems, for years.

It kind of surprised me when he made it big. RIP
