I don’t know a lot about keto but I do like protein and feel better consuming that as opposed to carbs. I made a beef and noodle dish with some garden veggies recently and I used rice noodles from the Asian store. I’m assuming they are lower carb that semolina pasta and I like that they really added no flavor at all to the dish that I could detect.
I’ve found that after the first couple of days on low carb, I feel better - less ‘foggy’. I’m just not a big fan of beef and pork, so it’s a challenge for me.
In addition, the diet actually suppresses appetite, so I’m even less inclined to eat a lot of the ‘allowed’ things. I’m embarrassed to admit that I wind up eating a lot of kosher hot dogs, bacon, cheese and nuts ;-)
