I'm not so certain about that...
JMHO the last two years have been a whole series of Death by a Thousand Cuts for the DS/Media/'rats.
Everything...every..single..thing they've tried to "get" Trump has backfired to the point that they're basically down to their last hole card, junk the economy.
Only problem is that to get maximum effect with minimum impact on the funds put at risk, my best guess says that Economy Bomb shouldn't be dropped until at most 6-8 weeks before the election. (Exactly as was done in 2008) Therefore, even waiting until NEXT August could still be too early.
Somebody's scared.
Somebody's desperate.

Yes... I should have added in their own minds. It seems that they are going insane. As to the timing of recession, I think they have a plan... I doubt it will work, but, as I say, they are going insane.
