No, it isn't. Bloomfield is of medieval English origin. Jews of the surname Bloomfield mostly once were Blumfelds who "Americanized" their name.

Jewish refugees into Britain did the same thing in order to fit in. Having a German sounding name during WWI caused a lot of Germans, Jewish or not, to anglicise their names to avoid getting beaten up or burned out of their homes.
