Judicial Watch Statement on Robert Mueller’s Congressional Testimony
Judicial Watch ^ | July 24, 2019

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the congressional testimony of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller:

The corruptly formed and constitutionally abusive Mueller investigation failed to find any evidence to support the big lie of Trump-Russia collusion.

Nonetheless, Mr. Muller attempted today to smear President Trump with obstruction of justice innuendo despite concluding that no such charges could be credibly sustained. Frankly, Mueller never had a valid basis upon which to investigate President Trump for obstruction of justice.

Couldn't you have just added the last paragraph? It has a fine summary of the whole sordid mess...
Let’s be clear, neither Mueller, the Obama FBI, DOJ, CIA, State Department, nor the Deep State ever had a good-faith basis to pursue President Trump on Russia collusion. Russia collusion wasn’t just a hoax, it is a criminal abuse of President Trump, which is why Judicial Watch has fought and will continue to fight for Russiagate and Mueller special counsel abuse documents in federal court.
JW is doing the best investigative work anywhere. Kudos to Fitton and company; keep after 'em! Lock them all up!

My favorite part of yesterday:

…nowhere does it say that you were to conclusively determine Donald Trump’s innocence or that the special counsel report should determine whether or not to exonerate him. It’s not in any of the documents. It’s not in your appointment order. It’s not in the special counsel regulations. It’s not in the OLC opinions. It’s not in the justice manual, and it’s not in the Principles of Federal Prosecution.

Nowhere do those words appear together because respectfully, respectfully, director, it was not the special counsel’s job to conclusively Donald Trump’s innocence or to exonerate him because the bedrock principle of our justice system is a presumption of innocence. It exists for everyone. Everyone is entitled to it, including sitting presidents. And because there is a presumption of innocence, prosecutors never, ever need to conclusively determine it.

Thank you.

It is really great that JW makes these points, so people can see the truth.

Mr. Mueller, do you have any final comments?

“Yes. First, everyone in the country knows my name is pronounced “Mule-err”. You idiots have been mispronouncing it as “muller” for the past two years”.

“Second, I’ve changed my phone number, cut off my internet and from now on you kids keep the hell off my lawn!”.

Take a look at the Drudge Report... Not ONE link or mention of Mueller.

Show me on the doll where Mueller’s testimony hurt you, Matt.

AG Barr was called before the Senate Judiciary Commttee.

Co-Chair DiFi came in loaded for bear.......she began by reading from Mueller’s discredited report about Trump “obstructing justice” by trying to fire someone or other.

Barr calmly said: “That’s not a crime.”

DiFi was aghast....”Why not?”

“Because you have to have an underlying crime that was the target of the obstruction, “ Barr patiently explained.

There was none...end of story.

Our schools have spent decades convincing people that they are allowed “their own truth”.

And now, concepts like “presumption of innocence” can be dismissed by many people as, “Well, like, that’s your opinion, man.”

Isn’t that the truth?

At least we have Matt Gaetz, Devin Nunes, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan, Louie Gohmert, and a handful of others.

Yes, I would agree.

They put together this SC. They appointed a man who, was known among some people to have early dementia, whereby he would not have a direct over sight to the formation of the team of prosecutors or to their methods.

Painfully yesterday we saw proof of this. Mueller new nothing of the bias in the appointed lawyers.

He knew very little of the document itself.

It was clear that he was not in charge, others were, probably this guy Weissman.

Mueller was appointed simply because of his passivity.

and in the end, the guy is oblivious to the simple fact that YOU list here in your post, ie that we are all presumed innocent until proven guilty.

That is the crux. The pivotal point of the entire useless exercise.

Mueller has become the Don Quixote of our times.

Ratcliffe was great yesterday. But where the heck has he been the past 2 1/2 years? We need all hands on deck and it seems the GOP isn’t interested in doing that.

Nicely expressed.

However, if there is any single organization on the entire web that deserves a click for traffic, it is JW.
