On Wednesday, Netflix announced its subscriber base in the United States declined for the first time since 2011.
...
Netflix blames the decline on its most recent price increase...
Perhaps theres another factor that Netflix is missing, or evening ignoring ....
For more than a year now, Netflix has made some controversial moves that undeniably alienated a large portion of its U.S. subscribers: conservatives.
Back in March of 2018, Netflix named former Susan Rice, the former National Security Adviser and Ambassador to the United Nations under Barack Obama, to their Board of Directors.
...
Rices placement on the Board of Directors was also criticized because her national security background seemed irrelevant to being on the BOD of an entertainment company.

I only had a subscription for a very short time. I don’t miss it.
I certainly hope so.
Maybe Susan Rice can go door-to-door to solicit subscribers for ObamaFlix, she’s so cuddly and trustworthy.
Doubtful... reality is, they raised their rates at the same time the were losing much of their Disney content which they had been exclusive for a lot of it.
The price increase, and less and less compelling content, make netflix less and less valuable.
With more streaming competitors vying for content, netflix is no longer the deal it once was.. and much of the content that used to be worth viewing on it is gone, to other streamers.
Much of their unique content is, frankly CRAP, with or without the SJW, leftist stuff....
About the only stuff it claims “exclusivity” to in the states, that is any good, is mostly stuff produced and broadcast in foreign nations, that they have bought exclusive rights in the states too, but NETFLIX has nothing to actually do with its production.
New NETFLIX hit piece on Trump today.
“The Great hack”. - Netflix
This article explains however, what the true facts and not the Netflix hit job.
Are you wet because you're standing in the rain ?
Oy vey . . .
There are also more and more alternatives.
There are also more and more alternatives.
Cancelled the day they announced that the Obamas were under their “wing..” Gone never to return.
I cancelled mine also last month. Reason: their politics.
Yes, that’s why I quit.
A business model based on alienating half of your possible customer base is a poor business model.
And yet company after company does that. Why?
They stopped letting people pay via the Apple and Android apps
They presumably have lost some subscriptions but no longer pay the Apple/Google “tax”
Stopped mine when they hired baraky and michael to produce shows. I’m not into commie or gay programming.
I just canceled also I put down all it is horror movies
The Builders gone?
Netflix Hired the Obamas so I Fired Netflix
I have personally walked into their offices more than a few times in my business...MOST of them are liberal douchebags. I do have some business with them my production company but I dont deal with their original programming division EXCEPT for one which i will not divulge but their original content “team” , has more fags and dikes than a gay parade.
I left the day I heard they were planning to sign a contract with the Obamas and haven’t missed it a bit.
I haven’t canceled my subscription yet. I’m a little torn between canceling Hulu and canceling Netflix. On both, finding stuff that’s worth watching seems to only get harder.
Both also promote liberal themes incessantly. Maybe I’ll cancel both and try TCM.
