Hell, I got rid of the Keurig somebody gave me cause the cost per cup on that is 40 cents vs. around a nickel with the ol’ Mr. Coffee.
Could say the same thing about alcohol, too.
Is that 40 cent/cup using store bought K-cups or filling your own?
I finally realized I really didnt like coffee at all, just needed the caffeine.
My Keurig and the coffee pod holder sits in the garage now, its nice to clear off the counter space.
I take two generic No Doztablets every morning with a glass of milkcosts me $0.28 per day. :0)
My office has a nesspresso pod espresso machine. I’d seriously think about moving on if that perk was removed. Also have a keurig, but that’s about the same as the starbucks that is brought in for catering. Definitely first world problems ;-)
I used to use refillable K-cups at work. The guy I work for uses Keurigs and there’s a perfectly good second cup of coffee in one of those that he doesn’t want. Just shake it around, tap it to redistribute grounds.
And, he’s switched to my favorite variety.
Cheap win.
Laftes. His and hers. Homemade. Daily. 3 shots espresso
Oat milk. Whipped cream
All said and done about 0.75$ to 1$ each
Try Cold Brew....Buckeye.
Keurig is all I use now. I'd rather spend more for a perfectly fresh cup every time I drink a cup than drink a pot in which half of it is going to taste burnt. I have found that I drink less coffee as well because I don't feel compelled to finish the pot.
Me too. I tried one and while I liked the coffee I did not like having to use a new cup everytime and have to wait for it to be made. Went back to Mr. Coffee and I am happy. A lot cheaper.
