Garden Grove (California) Shoppers Frustrated By Homeless Population In Parking Lot
CBS Local Los Angeles ^

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA) — Shoppers at a Garden Grove Walmart say they’re being harassed by a group of homeless people in the parking lot, but police say they cannot do anything about it.

Neighbors say a homeless camp has popped up in the parking lot leading to vandalism and harassment, and they say Walmart will not ask them to leave.

Security guards and crews to pick up trash have been hired for area parking lots to combat some issues, but shoppers still say they feel unsafe and frustrated.

“There’s just a lot of homeless, a lot, asking for money,” said one shopper who was there with a child. “I don’t come after it’s dark.”

And when area cops are called out to the scene, their hands are tied.

Well, this is what happens when we have to be liberal about homeless matters. Being liberal means we can’t move them out of any place they set up camp. Walmart management is likely afraid to say or do anything because they would be perceived as bashing the homeless. We have to just put up with it, because we as a society don’t have the will to do anything about these people. We are unable to say they can’t camp there.

If it gets bad enough that shoppers avoid that Walmart, and don’t go there anymore, then what?

Will Walmart just accept such a situation?

My thoughts, too. People, shut up and shop somewhere else. That will be far more effective than whining. This economic policy, exhibited with huge success globally by our president, is a winning strategy.

(Imagine how bad the bathrooms are in that Walmart!)

It’ll continue until the state no longer gets its tax money from businesses that have closed down because of vagrants harassing customers.

They allow people to camp out in their parking lot?

That seems oddly stupid.

Homeless poopulation.......liberals remind me of the idiots who adopt the cute puppy because of their “feels” but then return it to the shelter because it’s peeing and pooping all over the house.

Walmarts all over the country have allowed RVs to camp out in their parking lots (for a limited time) for years now.

But this is something else entirely.

I’ve never been to CA except around ‘74 when I flew in en route to HI. Therefore I don’t know how beautiful it is, how nice the weather. Regardless, I do not want to live there or even visit. It sounds like a terrible place.

The police Choose not to do anything about it. If they are harassing people even on private property, they can be arrested. Both Walturds and the donut stuffers are complacent in this. Don’t shop there and don’t support the police dept. contract raises, until the enforce the law.

ALL WalMart’s stuff is from China.

WalMart is very strongly aiding in unemployment, even if many of these people are dedicated scum-bags.

When people come to buy goods dumped on the recklessly open US market by people who harvest organs from political enemies..?

Yes, they SHOULD see big-bellied, meth-smoking scum-bags from hell.

They SHOULD see it.

And think of all the theft and shoplifting that must take place there. Walmart doesn’t detain shoplifters.
