Of course they do. That's because historians ARE the problem.

Historians and academics have been lying to us for well over a century. So a headline like this is not a shocker. Academics Rally Behind Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Over Concentration Camp Comments: 'She Is Completely Historically Accurate'

Of course they would say that. They're drunk off of their own propaganda. Academia is a fraud and a wasteland.

The time is now for James O'Keefe style citizen historians to challenge the false narrative that the progressives have been building since the days of Carl L. Becker and Charles Beard. The free open-source conservative audiobook is one important key to throwing it back in their faces. Everything prior to 1924 is public domain. This content is our oyster - and their bane.

If anybody wants on/off the revolutionary progressivism ping list, send me a message

Progressives do not want to discuss their own history. I want to discuss their history.

Summary: Project Veritas has citizen journalists. Who has citizen historians?

History is a defunct academic pursuit.

It’s not defunct. It’s been murdered. It didn’t just fizzle out, this was active and intentional. These people have an agenda to promote and no stone gets left unturned.

As has been said about journalists, these people are activists disguised as historians.

Almost everything has become defunct since the 1970’s when the “long march through the institutions” began

“If it bleeds, it leads” journalism is systematically negative about American society. And, consequently, it is naive about government.

Historians who agree that journalism is “the first draft of history” are agreeing that only things that put society in a bad light go into making history.

No sale.

I knew there were no more true historians but political hacks when NOT ONE ‘historian” objected to the tearing down of the historical Confederate statues and monuments.

Nor a F#$$$ing one.

Cowards all and p%ss on the academics!

If Mad Bernie forgives all the student debt and makes education free where will the academics get their salaries? I don't think this was thought out completely. Would all profs be paid the same like doctors in socialised health care. Hmmmm?

PS. Where does the cash for the congressional retirement pay come from then? Right now its outsourced to the student debt repayment account.

That's a Newsweek reporter asking people about this when she already knows what they'll say. It's not like historians got together as a bloc and decided to agree with AOC and support her. And they're not even all historians - just professors who like to opine about things like this.

“It’s not like historians got together as a bloc and decided to agree with AOC and support her.”

They didn’t have to. It’s quiet complicity. When the historians introduced the narrative that our Founders are racists several decades ago, where was the outcry then and where are the deep volumes which challenge it from then?

Where are they at today, several decades later still challenging that narrative with volume after volume after volume? How is that not a consistent and widespread historical outcry to correct the record?

Where are they - they are nowhere. That’s the point. This all goes back to Beard and the early progressive revisionists. But the foundation they laid a century ago is not concrete. It’s only sturdy because it has no competitors knocking on it. Not yet anyways.

We will get there. Project Veritas wasn’t built in a day either.

Correct. PC Revisionists took over the History faculty starting in the 70s and 80s. They themselves were products of the 1960s. As they rose through the ranks, they started imposing a rigid orthodoxy on the hiring and granting of tenure in history departments in universities throughout the country. Where previously there was a lively debate among historians about how to interpret various historical events, now a rigid orthodoxy has been imposed.

This orthodoxy subscribes to various tenants of Leftism such as “all cultures are equal”, “the Civil War was about slavery”, “all that’s wrong with the world is the fault of white christian heterosexual christian men”, etc.

“Do you realize that the past, starting from yesterday, has been actually abolished?”

1984 by George Orwell
Home Literature 1984 Characters Winston Smith

“Do you realize that the past, starting from yesterday, has been actually abolished? If it survives anywhere, it’s in a few solid objects with no words attached to them, like that lump of glass there. Already we know almost literally nothing about the Revolution and the years before the Revolution.

Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, and every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day-by-day and minute-by-minute. History has stopped.

Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right. I know, of course, that the past is falsified, but it would never be possible for me to prove it, even when I did the falsification myself. After the thing is done, no evidence ever remains. The only evidence is inside my own mind, and I don’t know with any certainty that any other human being shares my memories.

Just in that one instance, in my whole life, I did possess actual concrete evidence after the event – years after it.” (2.5.14, Winston to Julia)
