That does not surprise me. I personally believe socialism is a feminine culture government. In that in say it is group instead of independent individualism.
In America, the State has supplanted the family in many ways, as was the goal. That was the plan, it wasn’t an accident. Destroy the family, and Churches, etc. So unnatural and unhealthy arrangements “single mothers” are considered a good thing, as far as Socialists are concerned. Job security for bureaucrats too. Healthy, well balanced, educated people with decent parents, decent jobs don’t need much, mostly, just the need to be left the fvck alone.
Creating dependent classes is the technique. Fearful, neurotic, unstable, propagandized, worked over, guilt tripped, worked into a frenzy over imaginary hobgoblins.... your tax dollars at work.
It is the real reason progressives wanted Amendment 19.
