I didn’t like the ending. It made no sense given episode 1-8.
I don’t like that he was screwed over by Sansha, given the send-off from Arya, laughed at and have his throne go to Bran. Because of Tyrion’s betrayal. . As many others that owed Jon fealty just turned their heads and whistled as if nothing were going on. Davos, Brienne namily.
John should have died along with Danny or lived to take the throne while Danny died or died while Danny took the throne. Their ending made just as much sense as Danny and Jon giving up the throne, fly off on Drogon to that hunting valley in the north.
The’re several actors that take method acting too far. Most recently would be Heath Ledger. He buried himself in the role of the Joker which dragged him to a dark place that he hadn’t pulled out of yet. Tom Hardy has the same type of intensity but for different types of roles. It’s changed Johnny Depp into a raging alcoholic, substance abuser.
I respect Kit Harington and after 8 years of his prime acting age / life vested in a role I won’t blame him one bit for crying. I’m sure many others went home or to their trailers and wept some.
Read a while ago that he hated the hairstyle his character was wearing. The shooting of the show wrapped a long time ago and he’s just wearing a slightly shorter version and still sporting the facial hair. So forgive me if I call BS on this emotional-breakdown story.
