First, my apologies for the self-serving rant previously. Some pressures and situations at work and home boiled over a bit. I've been rode hard and put up wet a few times lately. My tantrum was based on a need for encouragement.

Second, I got what I needed and then some from this wonderful community of FReeQs, FReepers and FRens! That was a wave of support both on the forum and in many private mails that washed over me, leaving me refreshed and rejuvinated.

Most of all I feel encouraged. Like many here, I fight to keep my impatience bottled up and that leads to frustration at times.

Especially to defconw, because I launched the barrage off your post, DON'T stop sending me links, please. Remember? I just gave you a shout-out a couple days ago for sending me a great story! I really do appreciate it. I'm sorry that I offended you or made you feel like I don't need or want your input - I do!

Finally, Thank you all for the encouragement. I'm dusting off and climbing back into the saddle, ready to chase down the trail with saber and pistol!

Oh. Kit. I am just now catching up from the last thread - academic awards night for 7th- and 8th-graders, thus a very long school day.

I, too, need a special lift every now and then when the row seems to tough to hoe.

This NXIVM evil must be exposed, as difficult as it may be to research and realize the depravity.

As many other fellow FreeQrs have commented, I also appreciate your efforts to dig into this abomination and share that information.

I think anyone who is digging and posting should feel free to ask for feedback if they aren’t getting any. We all need to know if we’re just shouting into the abyss or if someone actually is hearing us.

Remember for every response you get, there are probably 10 or more who didn’t post or PM. If I see a great post and others have already responded, I usually don’t respond, just because I think too many attaboys clog up the thread. I’ll respond if I think I have new information to add. So to all of you great posters out there, I just want you to know that you’re appreciated even if I don’t answer!

I kind of liked the rant. :-) I copied and forwarded parts of it to a non-FR friend. I thought it laid out some of the most salient points of the issue very succinctly.

No problem! Sometimes we need to vent. I’ve done it a couple times when I’ve gotten frustrated too, usually when I’ve posted something, then later someone posts the exact same thing and people catch that one and mine is completely ignored. It happens!
