At a cursory glance, the only relationship you may notice between BAT, the Basic Attention Token, and the Brave browser is that both are related to advertising. When you take a closer look, however, the two are very much connected. You can use the BAT token with the Brave browser to support websites, and the two were created to seamlessly integrate. Because of this, an understanding of one requires a comprehension of the other, as well.

I keep waiting for this to happen, but so far, nothing. Seems to me like a great way to assist in paying for the site. I can send BAT to Freerepublic and that is essentially money in the bank.
You have made 11 comments om FR since 2016....
Yea, uh, huh?
>>>I can send BAT to Freerepublic and that is essentially money in the bank<<
Or you could send money to Freerepublic and that is, like, money in the bank.
Your going to need to be more clear.
FR has been around since 1997.
Explain how the Brave Browser helps.
Would that require Braves special anonymous ads, or is it simply a token payment we and others can give as we spend time on a site?
Because bats can carry rabies and nobody wants that crap.
You like rabies?
Okay, but JR will send you the exterminator bill. You fine with that?
I can send BAT to Freerepublic
From what I’ve read, you can send BAT as a “tip” to any website that is set up to receive them.
The Brave Browser sends BAT to my wallet to give out to whichever website will accept them.
And I just gave 5 BAT to Duckduckgo.com I automatically set up freerepublic to receive BAT but they aren’t set up to receive them yet.
I don’t have to be clearer. You most likely are NOT using the Brave Browser or you would already know some of the things about it already.
The guy who invented BRAVE is the same guy who Firefox FIRED because he gave money to a conservative cause.
His is on the conservative side.
Funny! Here is a website that keeps track of websites that accept BAT. Both conservative and left leaning websites accept BAT.
That's because Free Republic sucks and you should boycott those BAT haters.
Please briefly explain BAT and why it makes sense for FR. Concentrate on Features and Benefits.
It makes sense if Jim would allow these non-trackable ads.
He would get a portion of the money generated and we get a little, too, which we could give to Jim, as well.
