Absolutely a masterpiece. Non-stop roller coaster. If you have ever been a Marvel fan then this is the movie you’ve always dreamed of. I can no longer look forward to Far from Home or Dark Phoenix asthey can only palein comparison.

Is this considered a part 2, revenge on the bad guy wiping out a whole bunch of people in Infinity war?

Got tickets for Saturday; a group of us from work are going. What an effort the Marvel group has put in — super quality. I always thought the first Avengers movie was impossible to ignore, even for folks that dislike the genre. All they had to do (then) was not screw it up; instead, they turned out an amazing spectacle of a film that fleshed out the greatness of its source material, and made fans out of everybody.
I guess my only question is, are there teasers for future story lines during/after the credits?

It was a breach with the existing fans which brought nothing positive to the table and didn't solve any problems.
The only beneficiaries were new writers they were hiring who just didn't have the memory skills to keep all the differences in continuity between the various universes in the marvel multiverse straight.
As time has gone by, it has become clear that those writers don't write as well either.
Better memory produces better writing.

You noted that seeing Infinity War would be helpful...are the previous releases all “stand alone” themes/story lines?
