BRENTWOOD, NH (WMUR/CNN) - A New Hampshire homeowner is under court order to clean up his yard that's littered with thousands of boxes.
If he doesnt, the town will do it for him and stick him with the bill.
Meanwhile, his neighbors are hoping their community will finally go back to normal.
Michael Bates found himself back in court after failing to clean up his property in Salem, MA.
The town estimates that there are some 2,000 boxes containing printers in the yard.

what in the heck is he doing with that many printers???
I’ll take them so I can extract the servos.
I couldn’t afford the consumables for that many printers.
His wife's name is Dot Matrix?
Holy shitte!
This happened to a neighbor of mine. It wasn’t printers, just a lot of junk. In most urban and suburban areas you can’t simply turn your property into a junk yard.
Back in a previous lifetime we had a simple solution that involved a rope and a small plot on boot hill. The world has become so complicated these days. :(
I suppose indoors is already full, and/or he’s auditioning for Hoarders.
He must be a Rat voter, or Big Media would have already leaped at the chance to call him a white {printer box} nationalist.
“Hey buddy, you wanna buy a printer?”
He just recently found out that he can buy replacement ink instead of buying a new printer all the time.
If he paid for the property it is his to do with.
Hoarders like this guy are mentally ill and don’t care about their neighbors or their property values. I’ve seen far worse.
Steppers, I think you mean, but give him a call, probably make you a deal, but you just have to take them ALL!
What is missing in this picture? A strong, motivated HOA :)
If it cant be seen from eye level than who cares.
Neighbors suck.I dont have any.Whewwww
He thought it would brighten everyone’s day.
Each box has a smile on every side.
The homeowner was quoted, saying, “It’s what Jeff Bezos wanted me to do with them!”
A little strange.
This is a report from a Hawaiian newspaper
about a New Hampshire resident
that won’t clean up his Salem Massachusetts property ?
I was curious as well, and I found an older article that stated he owned a liquidation business and he was selling the cartridges out of them. I guess they were junk/returns, and he has a warehouse, it looks like he was going through a divorce and lost the warehouse/lease and took all the printers, which he had left, back to his house. He had them on pallets in his driveway. Then for some reason they ended up scattered around the property, probably trying to devalue the property so his wife would take a beating on the sale. That is my feeling.
His brother Norman, would never hurt a fly or a printer.
All property comes with restrictions and subject to legal jurisdictions.... When you buy property.... technically, you don’t buy property because the US government owns all property. You buy a set of restrictions....
