Lori Loughlin pleads not guilty in college admissions scam
It turns out that trusting the word of a con artist might not always be the best choice. Following Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli's decision to plead not guilty to the charges facing them in connection to the college admissions scandal on Monday, a source close to the 54-year-old actress tells ET that she feels like those who orchestrated the scheme misled her about the severity of her involvement. "[Lori and her husband] claim they were under the impression they might be breaking rules, but not laws," the source says. "They feel they were manipulated by those involved and are planning that as part of their defense." "They realize how serious the charges are, but feel that once the judge hears their story he will see they had no bad intentions," the source adds.

Didnt Hillary get off because of lack of intent?
Con artist? He delivered the goods, nobody was conned. But deluded, maybe .
Dindu nuffin.
Typical Democrats. “But We’RE the victims”.
“Rules are for the peasants. “
Yeah, she comes off as thinking that somehow her celebrity and money counts for something. She is about to find out that neither means $hit with the prosecutors. The other celebrity, Felicity Huffman, decided on the “contrite” road with the prosecutors, and I imagine that she’s going to come out with little or no jail time. But Loughlin and her husband have managed to $hit can any hope of that sort of punishment.
‘They Had No Bad Intention,’
AKA The Hillary Clinton Defense.
She and her husband are headed for disaster. Her feelings that she was not breaking laws do not provide a valid defense.
I wonder if a future computer search will disclose that they are checking out countries without an extradition treaty with the US?
Stupid woman was desperate to get her children into USC
“I thought it was a no biggie. Don’t I get a pass”?
This is just an extenuation of the continuing war on white people.
Yes! Their intentions were only good. And we all know where good intentions lead bad people right?
Better be a diminished capacity defense formation because I was ignorant of the law is no excuse. BTW does someone launder money and do tax evasion to conduct a legitimate transaction? NO!
Puh-leeze.
They knew.
Wait till the two little braineacts get their target letters as coconspirators!
All our lives we have been told, “ignorance of the law is no excuse”.
These folks need to go to prison.
Laws ARE for everyone, except the Clintons of course.
$500k is a lot of “stupidity”. Please.
This is probably true, but it doesn’t matter.
“Typical Democrats”
From what I’ve read, this couple donates “bigly” to GOP, and aren’t Rats. If true, that’s probably why they’re being singled out as the bad guys when others did what they did.
