Look closely at the bios of some of those “American actors” and you’ll find a lot of Aussies and some Irish & Brits. I notice many of them speak without a trace of an accent — until you catch an interview with them.
Ever hear Hugh Laurie (Lead actor in the series House) in an interview?
He has a full-on Cockney accent.
Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, & John Malkovich were the leads in Red. Morgan Freeman is from Memphis. You’d think he’d have heard of Mobile.
