By the way, that’s no woman. That’s Rosyln Sanchez. Uber hottie.

“Untouchables” when Eliot Ness (Kevin Costner) pitches Frank Nitti off the roof, then tells his team, “He’s in the car”.

"Hard Times" with James Coburn and Charles Bronson. Lots of good scenes but the best is when Bronson knocks the guy out,in the first fight, with one punch. The opening credits are even good with Bronson on a fright train with the slide guitar music.

Funny you should mention that. About a week ago a group of friends and I were out to dinner. And someone brought that scene up. Every last person at the table knew the line!

So my friends all could be Bob Hope fans, old movie fans, or Democrat-insult fans. I’m guessing it’s the last one.

By the way, I wonder if the La Marseillaise scene would even be in ‘Casablanca’ if that movie were being made today. After all, the song is very nationalistic. And that sort of thing is frowned upon these days. Maybe they’d replace it with some sort of EU inclusiveness poem.

If we had had snowflakes back then, we'd all be speaking German today.

Full Metal Jacket is the only movie I’ve seen from that listing of best moments.

I wouldn’t watch any of the others listed even on free TV.

Thumbs up! That WAS a sudden shock moment that tied the entire movie into a neat bundle of understanding.

Your clip gives me chills (never saw the movie)

Edward Norton’s “reveal” to his lawyer, Richard Gere, in PRIMAL FEAR.
Made me wonder if I could believe anyone ever again.

My wife’s favorite movie scene of all time is near the beginning of Terminator II when the Terminator and young John Connor rescue his mother from the psychiatric prison. Massive emotional conflict for Sarah Connor. She sees the murderous unstoppable Terminator from the first movie, arriving with her son. There’s a look of utter bewilderment on her face. Very true and real.

I have to strongly disagree. Elmer Bernstein’s score for The Magnificent Seven is tremendous. As is John Barry’s for You Only Live Twice.

Good one. But I think I like the “I’ll be back” moment with Ahnold.
