He used these films to blackmail US politicians into turning a blind eye to Escobar’s smuggling routes. Rumor had it he had one of these films staring Bush Senior from his days as a Congressman. The tech to do such has gotten much cheaper and easier. Hard to believe such "honey traps" are not more common than most think.
