I didn’t bring it up I just commented on it.
As for the AAF it was probably a failure from the start because the NFL would try to kill it one way or another if started to become successful. I’ve watched a few games but wasn’t impressed which may be a result of the NFL turning me off as well.
It was a part of the NFL. The whole thing was to allow practice squad and college players to get some playing time before stepping up to the bigs.
It would mean these guys are getting beat up every day for 18 months. Not sure if their bodies could handle that.
