Gee a pitbull story with a happy ending. Who knew?
Of course you kill the evil attacking dog.
Headline indicates owner killed pitbull
Not self-defense. Pitbull was not attacking man.
Silly owners...bringing a knife to a dogfight.
Pitbull attacks my dog and it will be a dead pitbull.
“”We don’t want to loose that privilege. “
They did indicate that it was the only dog park where the dogs could run lose ...
Dog parks are a liability nightmares, not to mention a common place for dog fights even though this article attempts to soft peddle it. Then throw in stupid people who have no biz owning a dog and the common dog diseases jumping from one dog to the next...on and on.
Started a fight, got shanked.
Some dogs should never be in the public leash free if any targets are within sight. It doesn’t matter what the park sign might say. The owner has usually seen how powerful the predatory instinct is with their pets. Puppies may be a different story.
Another mans property, was destroying his property. So he used a tool (knife) to stop the destructive act being performed on his own property.
Self defense need not be demonstrated.
Dam right.
Dam right.
People with animals like that have nothing to lose so why worry about liability?
Theres tons of things that trigger dogs. My 4 year old blue healer border collie cross jumped my 1 year old Kelpie border collie cross for getting to close to his food in his bowl that he wasnt eating. They put on quite a show for a minute or so. The dogs get along great most times. The 1 year old is learning boundaries and pecking order. Not the first time, bet it aint the last, but they are together constantly. I dont do dog parks.
Some people gotta be ignorant foooools. You gotta expect one of em dogs goes into wild ravenous animal mode once in a while. The article says the park users are shaken. What do they expect? Disney docile dogs? Deadly dog aggression gonna happen...dont be shaken when it does. Prepare for it.
Woulda been happier if it was you.
So there, JA.
My dog was nearly put down due to a stupid dog owner at a dog park putting himself in between our dog and his. There was no proof that our dog bit him, but he made the claim.
Don’t take your dog to a dog park if you have half a brain: Stupid people congregate there with their dogs and bad things happen.
After, the owner of the dog under attack pulled out a knife and stabbed the pitbull to death.
Like to know what kind/size knife.
